SANTA CLAUSE AND A DIY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Santa Claus will be stopping by HPL to see who's been naughty and who's been nice. Drop off your wish list, snap a picture with the big man (PLEASE BRING YOUR CAMERA) and make & take an ornament to hang on your holiday tree.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH CALENDAR CONTEST

DECEMBER 27 - JANUARY 21

HPL's annual Calendar uses student art work to celebrate African American achievements. Young artists grades 1 - 12 are invited to submit drawings.

The Calendar follows a "quiz calendar" format.

To enter, draw a picture from Black History and ask a question about it.

  • The best pictures and questions will be published in a free calendar available throughout Muskegon.

  • Each calendar page will feature a question--maybe yours!--about a famous person or event. Answers will be printed on the back.

  • Pick up your entry form at the library.

  • Entries are due at the Library no later than 5 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Our Contest Awards Program will honor contest winners and their families at 2 pm, Saturday, February 25th.

FAMILY WATERCOLOR PAINTING WITH LORI ESLICK PART I
