Upcoming Events at HPL



TEEN ADVISORY MEETING
4:00 PM FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2013
TEEN EVENT: Are you a Muskegon-area teen in Grades 9-12 wanting to make a difference in your community? Do you have great ideas about what should be happening in Muskegon? Want to develop events & activities for teens? Come check out HPL's Teen Advisory Board. The first get together will be in the Reading Room at HPL..Pizza and pop will be provided!


REINDEER PETTING ZOO
1:00 PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2013
See live reindeer here at Hackley Public Library! The reindeer will be outside on the lawn of the Muskegon Public Schools' Administration Building, on Webster Avenue, kitty-corner from the library.
Come upstairs to the Children's Department of the library for a reindeer-themed art project either BEFORE OR AFTER you see the reindeer. Learn about reindeer and how they live.


CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY FUN
2:00 PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2013
KIDS: Come to the library and create your special Wish List for Santa. (We will have special "Wish Lists" and pictures for you to use.) You can write a letter to Santa, too, and mail it in our special Santa Mail Box! Then, make a fun and tasty Christmas Tree to take home, using a sugar ice cream cone & goodies we will have at the library.


CHRISTMAS PLAYDATE & STORY FUN
6:45 PM MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2013
FOR AGES 3 - 7
Join us for some Christmas fun with a story, game, fingerplay, music and special songs. Finish up with a Holiday craft to take home and a special Christmas treat.

Come to Hackley Public Library for Christmas fun. There will be a story, a game, fingerplay, music and a special Christmas treat.


VILLAGE PUPPETEERS
2:00 PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2013
Join us at Hackley Public Library for a funny, interactive puppet show that will make the kids giggle in their seats. Village Puppeteers will present "Lost in Storyland." This all-live show is fun for kids of all ages, is visually enchanting, and includes lots of audience participation.
