Kids DIY Home Depot Workshop 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 30 Join Mr. Stan Dykema from Home Depot with a new "hot off the presses" popular "Design It Yourself" project to get you ready for Spring. Mr. Dykema has led workshops at Home Depot on various "around the house" projects. Drop in at 1:00 PM to see what project we will be building this time.

GYMNASTICS IN THE LIBRARY 2:00 PM TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 2013 Kids, if you've been cooped up all winter, not moving or exercising, then this is the program for you. Back by popular demand, the girls from Gonyon's gymnastics will take you through some skips and flips to get you ready for summer. They will go over some gymnastics and cheerleading moves on the mats. Comfortable clothing is all that is required.

PLANES AND OTHER FLYING THINGS 2:00 PM THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2013 Do you love paper airplanes and all things that move? Join us at Hackley Public Library as we make things that fly, twirl and whirl. We'll show you some cool devices and you can show us some of your favorite paper flying gadgets.

ORIGAMI WITH THE "M. JR. WRAPPERS" 2:OO PM SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2013 Origami is one of the coolest art forms around. You can make anything by folding paper. Kids, come join Jeff Closz and his team as they create fantastic dinosaurs and creatures that are part of our summer reading theame, "Dig into Reading".

Off the Wall Coffe House and Awards 6:30 pm, Wednesday, April 10 Student winners in the "Off the Wall" Drawing & Writing Contest for teens will share their work. Writing winners will read their creations, Artists will be featured in the HPL Gallery. Coffee, eats and music.

Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday, April 12 The annual Friends of the Library used book and media sale will be April 12 and 13 from 9:00 - 5:00, and April 14 from 1:00 - 4:00 at the Walker Arena annex. The bag sale will be Sunday afternoon, the 14th. A special pre-sale for Friends members only will be April 11 from 5:00 to 7:00.
