5:30 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 8

Meets in the Julia Hackley Room
All levels of knitters are welcome, including beginners. Come to learn how to knit, have a problem solved, or just for camaraderie. If you are just starting out, bring a pair of size 7 or 8 needles and a light colored ball of worsted weight yarn, otherwise bring your latest project or your problem project.

Motown Party on the Lawn
6:30PM Wednesday, August 8

There’s a new band in town and they will perform
some of the greatest hits from Motown on the lawn between HPL and the Muskegon Museum of Art. Join J.R. Simmons and his crew dancing under the blue, blue sky.
Audience participation includes hula hoops,
sing-a-longs and a dance contest.
