Patriotic Crafts
2 PM Wednesday, June 27

Get ready for the 4th of July with patriotic
make-and-take projects. We’ll create
Muskegon Skyline Firework Paintings,
air –powered sky rockets and enjoy special
patriotic treats. Join in the fun and celebrate.


Good Yarn Knitters
5:30 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 27

Meets in the Julia Hackley Room
All levels of knitters are welcome, including beginners. Come to learn how to knit, have a problem solved, or just for camaraderie. If you are just starting out, bring a pair of size 7 or 8 needles and a light colored ball of worsted weight yarn, otherwise bring your latest project or your problem project.

Fairy Day
2 PM Saturday, July 7

Kids who love Fairies won’t want to miss this. We’ll make “fairy accessories,” join a Fairy
Parade and discover surprises in a Fairy Hunt. Fizzy Faerie drinks and Elf Cookies will
complete the fun. Come in costume, if you like. Signup required. Registration opens June 1


Ulysses Group

Drummunity
2 PM Friday, July 13

Lori Fithian will bring her collection of instruments from all around the world
(including some of her own made from recyclables) for a fun, energizing drum –
community experience. We will drum on the lawn between HPL and the Muskegon Museum of Art. Share the beat with us.


Martial Arts in the Library
2 PM Saturday, July 14

Karate Master Saloman demonstrates the art of karate and the skills needed to practice martial arts.
