Twirly Day

Unusual twirly fun for young children, age 2 - 6.   They’ll make a variety of toys that spin, flutter and fly.   Projects include Streamers, Magic Wands, Mini-Helicopters, and a “Twirly Thing on a String.”

Time Travel to ANCIENT EGYPT!

Enjoy hands-on activities that help kids experience Ancient Egypt.  Write your name in hieroglyphics.   Play “Senat,” the ancient board game.  Taste Egyptian Barley Bread and learn how mummies were made.   For ages 5 and up.

Giant annual used book sale at the Torrent House, corner of Webster and Third Streets in downtown Muskegon.  Hardcovers $1.00 and paperbacks $.50.  Thousands of books to choose from.  Hours 9:00 am - 5:00 pm both days.  Proceeds go towards repairing and refurbishing the children's department of the Hackley Public Library.
